just relocated to idaho

hey yall
my name is noe, i just moved to idaho from texas about 3 or 4 months ago. i am living in the small town of aberdeen. im trying to find new places to fish and maybe a fishing buddy, my old one moved to minnesota (lucky him lol). iv tried fishing a few places nearby but its been slow going for the most part. if anyone knows some good places near southeast idaho id love the advice and maybe make a few friends while im at it.

any kind that puts a fish on my line lol...im used to fishing lakes off of the banks so mostly bait and lures. i dont have a boat so i cant get out on the water. still learning how to fish on the rivers and how to fly fish but all i seem to catch fly fishihng are trees, bushes and knots lol

I understand the fly fishing thing... limbs seem to love my flies as well... and grass and rocks.. everything but fish.. LOL... biggest fish I ever caught on a fly was my son in law when I hooked him in the lip on a back cast... aint never heard a man scream that loud before and at the same time could not figure out what my line was caught on.. LOL..
