Spanish Fork Creek (report)
#1
I fished the Spanish Fork Creek again last night. It was a nice little trip. I caught 7 small browns in about an hour. All were caught using a gold bladed rooster tail. The fish in there aren't very big, but they sure are fun to catch.

I also put my feet in the water in the Diamond Fork. The water is deceptive. It looks calm, but it runs extremely fast. I couldn't keep the blade on my lure spinning. I use a 5.2:1 return ratio reel, so I was really cranking on the handle. I didn't see any fish, but I didn't stay there long. I didn't wan't to go swim with the fishes, if you know what I mean. It was really tough/slow wading. I think it will get much better when the water flows decrease.
