Fished one of the reservoirs from 645 to 11 and had a pretty good time. Brought 5 fish to hand and lost one in the weeds (they are getting pretty thick close to shore). All of them were around 18" except the one that got stuck in the weeds. He was closer to 21"-22". Fishing went dead about 900. Those first couple hours were a lot of fun though.

Very nice. What type of line were you using if you don't mind me asking?

Type 3 sinking with a leech. A well presented callibaetis would have worked as well, there were a lot of fish eating them.

A very nice fish! I wish you had not told everyone where you caught that monster. It is a PM. deal. lol. Right? Or, is that just streams, rivers and all places that we All fish? That are secret and everyone has to PM the Messenger. Thanks for sharing. Straight up. I love the Browns in the boise river!

Haha. I have decided I am going to post all of my future reports as "upper deep creek reservoir", thats where the real fishing is at [laugh].

I was just surprised to actually see it full of water this year. I wonder if they'll plant it again if we can keep up the good water?
That's an awesome looking fish. I'm half tempted to leave the bass alone for a bit and chase the trout.
