Magic 8/21

Got out and fished magic resivoire from 9am till 2 pm. fishing was pretty good first thing this morning but the wind came on around noon and seemed to shut the bite down. ended up with 11 nice fish boated on Tomas buoyant and huckleberry needelfish trolled at 1.4 mph 5 to 7 colors down.

Nice fish and good pics, you picked a good day the water looks dead calm.

I got there about two and fished till dark, did about the same as you, my buddy hooked up on one that was an easy 21" plus.

I put my leded line away today and just fished with 8# mono, no weight or nothing useing a 4 weight flypole, caught em on wooly's, we just cut the motor and drifted with the wind in the narrows.
Crazy how you were catching em at 35-40 feet and I was catching em at about Ten feet of depth.

It was a blast haven't fished over there sense 1995.


That is crazy i guess that's why i quite catching they came up in the water column, I had a bunch of woolly buggers but didn't try them guess i should have. All of the fish we caught were very decent I can see some big fish comming out of there. []

The best is yet to come, it's just starting to pick up from the heat of the Summer.
Not sure why but it's ruff doin's for me to hook up in the Summer months.
We should hook up and swap some lies out there sometime.
