Kootenai River

Hello all, visiting from the Utah boards here. Family and I are going to making a week long trip to camp on the Kootenai River north of Bonner's Ferry. I've heard there are some big trout in the river. I plan on dropping some flies and also using my spinner reel. Anyone have any tips on lures/flies that would work in this area? Thanks!

Good luck. I hope you tell us how you did when you get back. We don't hear too much about the north end of Idaho fishing. Hopefully there is someone on here that knows the area and can help you out.
