Decided to head east today, rather than the Manti. My grandpa skipped out, so my parents, little brothers and myself wanted to see some game, so we headed up to Diamond Mountain. Fished Matt Warner from about 8-12, with power bait, worms & marshmallow, and lures. Caught about 60 nice rainbows. We fished over by the dam. After that, we decided to see how our favorite trout hole fared with the new regs on it. We casted blue fox's and gittzits, and nailed another 25 fish at Brought. It was amazing! The rainbows were litterally boiling on the bait fish. The largest we caught was about 5 lbs.

[unsure] So you and your family caught 85 trout, one of them being about 5lbs all in one day. That sounds like a once in an lifetime day, I'm glad to hear the catching is doing so good in North Eastern part of the state. WH2

Nice report TJK15. I've never fished out there before, but I'd sure like to try one day.
Did you see any animals on your trip?

We saw one monster bull on top of Strawberry in the morning. He was about 350bc or so. On Diamond, one 27 inch 3 point buck, 2 average 6 point bulls, and a cow.
