Dr Phil and I got out this morning sort of early and first stop, Phillip caught his 6th TARP crappie on his first or second cast. He thought that it was only about 13 inches, but I told him that it was a tarp. We put it on the golden ruler and it was 14.25 inches. It was released to grow up some more.

Then we caught about 4 more keepers of 12 to 13 inches under that dock and then 1 small throwback. That was my signal to move on to another dock. We tried several more docks on the way upriver, but found no more keepers on them. Stopped at a vertical structure to take a pulse on the fish and caught 17 crappie. All throwbacks. No keepers there. On upriver we ran and picked up 4 more keepers at various places, missed some fish and finally decided to call it a morning. One of Phil's sons has a birthday and he wanted to be back early or about the time that Jamie gets out of bed.

I met and talked to Kingfisher for a couple of minutes. He and his friend had been out since daylight and were doing about like we were doing. Good talking to you, Bob.

Candi, we talked to Dr Jim at his dock this morning. I told him that you had been telling me about him. He said that you were showing off all kinds of fishing pictures. He was impressed.

Well, that's it for this report. Gotta go spend some money on food. emoBang But what can you do? A man's gotta eat sometimes. emoBig emoGeezer
