Was off on Friday so I decided to hit the lake at safe light. I headed to the same grassy area I had been fishing for the past week. Caught a total of 20 fish before heading to an early spring area and catching two more quality keepers. Caught fish early on without wind on 4 and 5 inch Senkos. Once the wind picked up, I was able to go back to 3/16 and 1/4 ounce texas rigs with large worms. Fish caught in 3 to 8 feet of water. It was a great day on the water, as I fished nearly the entire day without another fishing boat anywhere to be seen. A beautiful day on the water.
