#1
Hit up the south fork again. Much the same out there, caught alot of small browns, one about 16" and my buddy got a nice one also. Still no signs of the big one. I hope he's still out there cuz Im gonna get him if he is before this winter [Wink]. Anyways, Good fishing, Matt

Where specifically did you fish? I've been up there several times this summer with only marginal success. I've fished from just below the causey dam, memorial, between south fork and botts. also hit above and below magpie. Good to hear that the number of fish is still pretty good even though the size isn't what it used to be. Great report and thanks for any info...[Wink]

I think my buddy caught that one last weekend a big brown about 26" long fought like crazy, but he say one or two more about the same size but couldn't get them to take anything. By the way it was the only fish he caught all day. Caught it on a silver panther martin 1/8 oz

I fish up river from the south fork camp ground, Ive seen some really good fish around magpie but they are spookey. Bearclaw, I hope that wasnt my 26" brown from a few weeks ago [Wink]. I had a bruiser on and played with it a few minutes till the hook came out. I know theres some monsters in there and I know the hole that one sits in. Thats my goal to get one over 25" before it gets to cold. Anyways Im gonna try again saturday, might bring the wife out and do some camping at the south fork camp ground, if anyones up that way try and find me and maybe we'll hook into another big one. Good fishing, Matt

By the way, Last weekend while we were fishing there was a high speed chase down 39. About half a dozen sherrif deputies were chasing a blazer. Puts alittle more excitment into a fun filled day of fishing. Good fishing, Matt
