Any of you going to get a kid out on the youth hunt? I would also like to know who hunts ducks and geese so maybe we can plan a hunt this year. I hunt mainly Farmington and ogden bay, late in the season I like to hunt the weber and salt creek so if your interested in getting out let me know.
I don't walk in I have a small hunting rig that gets me in to spots that is to far for the walkers and launch in spots the big boats can't get to.
here is my rig. I usually hunt two to three guys I have another boat I can tow to get out two or thee more but like to keep it simple and I am not in to sky busting or shooting at whatever fly's by, I mainly shoot Mallard,Gadwalls and pintails.and have enough decoys and have been calling ducks since I was 14. I like to do the calling if you come out with me but am open to a good caller joining in on the fun if it is working out and the ducks are reacting right and are working the blocks.If there not I will probably ask you to not call so don't get your feelgoods hurt if I do and your out there with me. Also PM's will get a answer to questions I don't post spots on the open forum and like to keep my spots secret,so if I take you to a spot I don't want to see you out there with your buddies the next time I go out, I have lost very good spots from inviting people with me but like to get out with people that can keep thee mouths shut and keep these spots to just use.if your ok with this PM me. lets get something in the works
