went to a spot over around Preston well a couple spots the second rhymes with Preston!! any way the second didn't catch anything at all!! and the first place caught a bunch of very small perch i mean small small!!! and i caught one really nice bass was 18 inches!!! pulling my scale to 4 lbs... and a few others not even worth a picture... everything was caught on a jig the bass were drug out of about 15 20 feet of water aproxamently!!! dont quote me on that. and the perch were all over the shallows.. here are some pictures.. oh and a pic of one small bass of the day that my dad caught on a worm.. it was a good day with exception of the wind blowing in three different directions and my tube had a leaky valve for some reason it doesnt leak now though!!!

There are a lot of those little micro bass kicking around there this year. Looks like the last couple of springs have had good spawns with all the water. Congrats on the big guy though, that's a nice one.
That other place you went has been pretty frustrating this year. Last year I had numerous 100+ days there, and now I'm really working for them and not even coming close to those numbers. I did manage a couple of decent ones there on Thursday,[inline "bass small.JPG"][inline "bass 2 small.JPG"]
but it's nothing like it usually is this time of year. Both of these hammered a suspending Sebile Stick Shad up against a wind blown weed bed. Funny how the two places are fishing so differently. I couldn't even get a bite there in the deeper water, but the day before at the other place, all the good ones were deep. Strange.

Thanks! I was catching tons of nice perch and some good bows there three or four weeks ago on crankbaits while targeting bass. When I went on Thursday I only caught one perch (about 12") and no trout. It must be because I'm actually thinking about targeting perch for a fish fry tomorrow. They always disappear when I target them.
