strike is beginning to go into fall mode. only caught about 40 this week. none on topwater. biggest was about 2.5. definitely not as aggresive as they were a few weeks ago. most of them on jerks and plastics.water was anywhere from 64 to 68. not ready for the cold weather to come.

Wife and I pounded the perch this Saturday. Aside from the people that literally asked if they could tie up to my boat so they could get in on the hot-spot, it was a nice trip. Funny, everywhere we went we caught fish, I don't understand why folks can't move off 50 yards and do as well, might be because they don't know how??? Anyhow we brought home a bunch, because we shared with a family that is down on its luck, and short on money. We kept enough fillets for fish tacos tomorrow, and gave the rest away to some VERY grateful folks. Yeah I usually only keep 25, but this time we kept 50.

I caught about 20 myself with only 8 keepers biggest about 14"

My brother sitting in the back of the boat only caught abou 5 or six dinks using the same thing.

We were in 66 - 67 deg water.
