Fish Lake October

I am going to Fish Lake oct 10-12. Does anyone know when the big macks start biting? I heard fall was best but need to know when. Also any more info on this beautiful lake would be much appreciated, Thanks Ben

the macks are there most the time at fishlake.. it's finding them and getting them to hit is another story.. any time from now tell next summer should be good for them..you can try jiging on the east side by the lava flow.. and mack run is allways a good place to troll with big flatfish any where from 50' to 90' deep..check your deepth finder and try and find where they are.. the cheese hole can be good to right up by where the weed line and deep water come togther..if your jigging get some perch meat and 1/2 oz white tube jig have been working as good as anything..
