Been about 6 week since I last wet a hook so with the great weather Alvin and decided to waste 3 hours this evening at the Riverpark. Did not expect much and that is what we got. Fished a bank that does good in the fall but either the high pressure had them off or we are a few weeks early. Ended up catching 6 blue cats and 2 channels on drop shot gulp minnows and pig n jigs. The catfish were holding within 5 feet of the rip rap which was very strange. Cats were between 3-8 bls. Water temp was a cool 76 degress. We only fished this one area as my trolling batteries were weak. Got a wiring issue to resolve to get them to charge correctly.
Could not beat the weather though.
