UL & Strawberry reports

We hit UL and Strawberry this last week. UL we landed 1 LMB and 2 whities, the walleye didn't want to play. Strawberry we landed to slot cuts and 1 small rainbow, fished from the mud creek side. It was our first time trying out my buddy's new fish finder, Garmin 300c?, worked like a charm, but we couldn't figure out how to set it to show mph, it looked like we needed to calibrate it for speed before it would display it?

If it is gps speedometer it should display w/o needing any figuring for speed.

Start clicking buttons until you find a place that asks you what you want on your display.

It's kind of a check list just click on the things you want on the display i.e. speed, water temp, and time or clock. That's what I have on mine.
