Put in at Greys and checked out a couple of points on the way up to Goose Island. Was also using a new fly I had tied patterned after a good friends fly he had given me.
It did very well and caught all the fish of the day. 1-12" bass, 2 walleye 14" & 16" and 2 trout 16" & 19". Wind was difficult at times but workable and the water temp was 56 deg.

Fun trip, and sounds like a good fly. Do you have a picture or discription of it?

Michael, I was in the green Lund boat, just passed goose. I'm pretty sure that was you not to far from me. There was a couple of guys that pulled up next to you in a flat bottom tracker, right when I was headed back to the North.

Well howdy! you were working that point and how did it fair for you? It's done well for me in the past but didn't help me much Saturday. I did land the trout on the north side of the island.
We'll have to say hi next time.

Caught some fish there in the morning, nothing big. Did best, just outside of Grays Landing.
