Lake Mead Sunday Evening
#1
Sunday, 10/30/11- Hit the water at about 3:30 pm. Made the run to Las Vegas Wash on flat water. Birds were loafing, no fish were splashing......better start looking for some shad.

Could'nt catch anything in the easy open water along the edge. Had to bust through the floating funk and yuck near the shore and toss the net about a million times while moving between the submerged brush and floating plastic bottles. Ended up with dirty boat and a bunch of shad. Was it worth the effort?

Shad getting ready to go to work!

Live bait striper on the hook. It's hard to go wrong with live bait.

Great report and story-board.
I need to get a game plan for my next tournament.
Your catch might be good for first place if you were fishing with us (NSC).
