FYI - Deer Creek Closed.....
#1
On KSL.com the following story is displayed...

[Image: 5216.jpg] Those planning recreation in this area over the weekend will have to change their plans Deer Creek Reservoir is now closed to all boating, that's to eliminate any dangers because of the six helicopters using the reservoir as a water source. And many forest roads off of the Alpine Loop Road that lead into the burn area are closed, however for now the loop road itself remains open.

That reminds of a story I once heard! After a forest fire a man was found in the middle of a forest wearing a wetsuit and breathing apparatus. After an investigation it was discovered that he was diving in a local lake close to the fire and a water bucket suspended from a chopper scooped him up with a load of water and dropped him on the fire![crazy]

I took a class on urban legends my first semseter of college. It was fun, our text book was full of pretty much any and every urban legend that has been around for a few years. That same scuba diver story was in there (three different versions of it). For that reason, I'm a little skeptical of the news link. It reminds me of that carp and viagra article someone put on here a few months back. :-)
