Archery buck

Been huntin' the front for the past few weeks. Bagged this 2 point the other day. He has been chasin' does for weeks. He is old and mature, just not a monster rack. Oh well. Maybe next year.

Thanks you guys.

He was 48 yards. Double lung, vessels off the top of the heart. He ran about 60 yards and piled up! I watch him roll. Man that was sweet!

Took him with an Epek XC-3. It left an axe wound in his side. I'm very impressed with the wound channel it left.

Yeah those big two point genes are somewhat common on the wasatch front. Buddy of mine killed a 5-6 year old two point a couple of years ago. Something in the genes they just don't grow bigger horns.

Nice buck!! And good on ya to get him out of the gene pool.
