It really just depends on where you are. Most of the state is as you've stated, but I believe there are places where Kokes count as part of your trout limit and I am certain that in some places you can keep 25/day 50/IP. One should always consult the regulations...... Good luck guys. [signature]

25/day kokes has been the case on anderson ranch reservoir for years.

Just be sure that you check the regulations for your area and specific waters. It does vary so just go to the website and make sure.

i stand corrected. i know the only places i catch them at deadwood is 25/ day. guess you better check where you go.

Okay, so I finally got around to checking the regs on this. Aside from exceptions, some regions are 6/day, some are 15/day, and some are 25/day. It appears that Kokes are not counted in the trout limit anywhere, as a general rule. There may be some individual lake exceptions to that rule, and I know there are some exceptions in the 6 Koke regions that allow 25/day and 50/IP. Carry some regs with you if possible so you can check if you are in doubt.
Could F&G have made it any more complicated? [signature]

Thanks for everyones response. Sounds like I better get a attorney.[:/] I will be fishing Devils creek. I think that my limit there will be six Kokanee and six trout. Now that I have a smoker, I want to start fishing for Kokes more.

Yes, an attorney would be good! [laugh][laugh] Six Kokes and six trout in the southeast region.
I know that they stock the kokes in Devils, but I don't know whether too many are caught. I haven't heard much on them there. [signature]

I fish Devils creek alot . I don't think you have to worry about catching over your limit . In all the times we have fished it we have caught 1 . If you want Kokes . Hit Mackay , Ririe, Pala
