Trying to stock up for spring. Just figured I would ask, what polarized sunglasses would you guys recommend from personal experience? My budget is $100 at most, and I want a versatile and durable pair of lenses for fishing. I have been wearing a pair of Smith's unpolarized glasses and I love them, but I want to try out a polarized pair.

There are a lot of good quality glasses out there. I think the most important thing is fit. Go to sportsmanswarehouse or wherever and try a bunch on. You want to make sure there is not a lot of space between your brow and the frame and your cheek and the frame. Space let's in ambient light and reduces the effectiveness of the polarization.

I say check Steep and Cheap. It changes all the time, but they do a lot of Smith and Oakleys for off the wall cheap.

smiths and natives are great glasses at a pretty good price. make sure to get something that is comfortable and light so you won't end up taking them off or having sore spots after wearing them for a day on the river/lake! and they both have a good warranty.

For the last 5 years or so I have been rocking the Cabelas brand polarized glasses, they make a lot of styles and they are all polarized with a high polarization value and of course all the UVA/UBA blocking qualities you gain from a good polarized lens. the best part is the price point, I paid 20 bucks i think for the pair i have now and if taken care of they last for a while, i think mine are 2 years old now. and cabelas has a gaurantee on them. and I dont have to freak out as much when they drop or whatever, they are cheap enough you can replace them easy. check out the website, you can see all the styles there.
my 2 cents.
