Ice Fishing tournament

Hello everyone I am new here but have been contemplating an ice fishing tournament on Hyrum Dam. I would like all of your input on the issue while I am putting it together. You are the ones that would be participating in the tournament and I would like to know what you would like to see incorprated in a tournament. Please respond your input is appreciated.

Im all for a tourney at Hyrum and i think alot of other people would be interested as well seems how the devils tourney fills up so fast.

[] Several years back I talked with Ranger Floyd and Fish and game and they said they would love to have one there. Fish and game said it would probably not take too much coaxing to get them to plant some lunkers or taged fish for special prizes. Local stores like Al's sporting good would probably contribute to some raffle prizes. It was a few years back though when I talked to them, but they love the idea of putting on an event to coax the kids out on the ice. They also suggested it be in Jan/Feb to ensure the ice was solid.
