Holmes Creek Ice?

Any one stopped at Holmes Creek? If so what were the ice conditions and anyone fishing??

I was told that the ice was solid for about a week and then started to go bad.
Be very careful, if you go there.

i didn't go down to check it out but when i drove by on Saturday there was one person fishing through the ice. I would also be careful. the north end still has open water.

North end has opened back up - 100 yards or so of open water. in the rest of the lake there are several areas that appear softer than the rest. Water around the edges now also. I took a thermometer with me and the water is at 46 (surface) still. It appears to need another week or more of freezing weather.
