Hello everyone, I am a fishing fanatic. I am possible addicted to fishing.
I love to fish for Bass, Walleye, Northern, and panfish/sunfish in that order.
I only keep walleye for food and that is rare. I catch and release 98% of the fish I catch if they can be released and have a good chance of surviving. I keep whatever I end up killing (which happens on occasion) but always to my best to preserve Minnesota's great fishing lakes.
I have three inexpensive setups, all cost under $150 because honestly I am both cheap and clumsy.
I wont look down on anyone using cheap gear because honestly if you are fishing you are doing something right.
I am not an ice fisherman, I not only find it boring I do have a fear of ice from falling through when I was 4. I survived by pulling my water soaked self onto the ice and walked back home. I was alone at the time. Anyways that's enough of what I don't like.
