After reading the fishing report and seeing unsafe ice, I figured I would pass by East Canyon on the way east to rockport. Glad I did, we fished on the south east end where there was 5 inches of good ice. Fishing was pretty decent as well. We ended up with 9 keepers while missing double that. Average fish size was around 15 inches. Beautiful but cold day.

Is it all capped? or still some open water?
Was that Taylor's Hollow you were at? [signature]

Sorry but I don't know the lake well enough to name where we were at. All I can say is we were by the bathroom area on the east side where the water goes under the road. Hope that helps. We also seen people fishing in the cove on the north east side of the lake. Anyone have info on Lost Creek?
