backed the boat in the water at shellmound at daylight,an headed to the crappie holes,,they are dryed up,the holes not the lake,the water was up so high that i had to duck going under the bridge,an it was inpossible to fish the bridge because of the current an the large patches of dead grass floating from the cave area , it would float out then they would float right back in..well after that we loaded the boat an headed for bennett lake to try for some bass, as mark had to be home by 10 valley time..when we got to bennett i hooked up with a 4lber an them i caught a 3 lber,bout the time mark said he really needed to be going. dang i said, so i had to put up the secret trap an put the bandit on the trailer. water temp was 47 at the lower end of the lake an 51 at bennett,,both fish just killed the trap ,which i was just draging it very slowly in the grass....short but sweet trip. emoUSA <br />
