Couldn't stand staying home today so we had to run up to LP for a few hours. Not much going on but a lot of people trying. Trolled down stream from Spring Shores a few miles. Trolled lines at 40, 20, 10 and 5 feet with an assortment of flashers and gear. Marked a lot of fish around 40' but Avery was the only one getting bites at 5' with a hook and worm. He never did get a hook up though. Let the wind blow us back to the ramp and tried jigging through any balls of fish we marked but no luck. Oh well, better than sitting home watching TV.

Way better than staying home! I think it is fun just to get out and try even if you don't catch anything. Besides it just ups the odds that next time you'll catch lots.

I don't pay as much attention to your reports as I do Avery's!! That boy of yours is a fishing machine. I sure was hoping you had a better report....any excuse to get the boat out. I did fish Arrowrock the other morning, but it was the worst fishing I have experienced up there in the last 5 years. Thanks for the report, and tell Avery to let me know when he finds the fish! Mike

LOL Mike. We usually fish Arrowrock but haven't had much luck the last month or so. That's why we tried LP and[/b] I broke down and bought a parking permit for Spring Shores this year. And you are right he is a fishing machine:
