Got to mud creek at daylight and started fishing soon after. (Man was it cold). Nothing happening in mud creek so i ran up to coon creek where i found some bait fish at the mouth of the creek. Could not get them to touch the Arig, rattle traps, or crank baits. So i started throwing a blue and white jerk bait and caught a short one on the first cast and then nothing until I figured out not to jerk it just crank the handle two-three times and stop and start again and boom they would about jerk the rod out of your hand. fished to 3:00 and called it a day. ended up with 5 keeper that avg 2.5 lbs each and had 4 shorts. all and all not to bad of a day. Water temps were from 43- 47.5 all fish were caught in 3-6ft of water. <br />
