At the great risk of touching a nerve, I have a simple question about Birch Creek. I know the road (hwy 39) over Monte Cristo is closed during winter but what I don't know is where it is closed on the woodruff side. I have a snowmobile. Will I need it?

I apologize for my previous one word reply, Hwy 39 is closed further up the canyon than the turn off to BC . Furthermore I doubt you could get to the reservoir on a sled right now (not one you were very fond of anyway)

So....... Further up the canyon means the road isn't closed to birch creek? Can you get a fourwheeler up there? Thanks.

Really? I would have expected that this last storm would have deposited a considerable amount of snow up there. I have 4-wheelers too. I wonder which I would need.
