Rapala "Light"
#1
I just came across Two new Rapala Ultra Light Lures that I am going to add to my tackle bag for Idaho Trout waters, and, some warm water fishing, too. Take a look here on my blog.

This looks like it is made for CJ, Magic, and lots of other Idaho waters, esp. in the rainbow and blue. Thanks for sharing the info. Mike

Living in Idaho Falls, I checked out Sportsmans Warehouse today. They didn't have any in stock. Yet? They have a tremendous selection of Rapala lures, just not some of these at this point. May have to settle for an online source. Let's hope we can get our hands on some!

Did you get any of the size 4 Xraps that they came out with last year? Those are pretty fun to throw on the ultralight too, though I probably fish the size 6 a bit more.

My favorite small jerkbait is probably the Lucky Craft Pointer 65DD Sometimes you can find really good deals on them on ebay, and they work great. I fish them all over southeast Idaho, and have caught nice size rainbows, largemouth, smallmouth, walleye, crappie, perch, bluegill, everything really. I like that they get down to around five or six feet on light line and suspend. The size 61 and 67 Jackall Squirrels are really good too, but they're harder to find for cheap.

Throwing tiny hardbaits on light tackle is one of my favorite things, I'll probably end up getting some of these new Rapalas to add to my collection too.
