Jeff called me up yesterday and asked if wanted to go out in his toon today. We got on the water around 8:30 this morning and fished lipless cranks, Tennessee rigs, and shakey heads. Like the last time I was on the water, they only wanted the shakey head. We fished secondary points from 5 to 15 feet. Caught 15 or so fish with 6 keepers between 15 1/2 to 17 inches. We tried to stay around areas that had a rocky bottom. Anytime the shakey head comes in contact with the rock, it makes a clicking sound and fish are gonna investigate. The wind was a problem once it started blowing.
Water temp was 47 degrees initially but warmed up to 49 degrees. Green pumpkin Trick Worms got the vast majoity of bites.
Thanks Jeff for the invitation.
