The weatherman &#39;s forecast was for a nice day, so I had to get out and hunt for <br />crappie. I tried a few docks with no luck. A friend told me about catching nice crappie<br />in very shallow water. So I went shallow, I found some nice fish in less than 5 feet of<br />water. Just missed a tarp by an 1/8 of an inch. They weren&#39;t shallow everywhere, I<br />had to really look for em. Outlaw Special dominated. 1/32 oz jigs used . I finished with 30<br />keepers today, and caught a million short fish. A lot of work went into getting these<br />crappie, they still seem to be scattered. Crappie appear to really putting on the weight,<br />with minnows everywhere. All fish released.
