Electric Trolling motor question

Does anyone know of a kit or something available that can take a foot controlled minn kota to a remote control minn kota?

Depends on the model and year of the minn kota, but most of them can be operated with a remote. (Power Drives and Terrovas) Some need a corded remote. Some can use a cordless. There are also adapter kits. Again though, you first have to determine what you have, and then do a search for remote controls for it.

If you have one with the short "cable steer" foot control, I don't think those can be adapted.

my minn kota has a copilot which allows me to use a remote. it came with it but i think you can get one at sportsman, cabelas, boat shop or the internet. im pretty sure its called a co pilot.
