2 Feb 2012, Lake Guntersville Fishing Reports – My partner Mike Gerry joined me today for a day on the lake. Yep, we wacked them again today catching fish on almost every stop and LOTS of them! The water is still muddy to heavy stained with some clearing below Goose Pond, temp’s started at 51 and we found some as warm as 55 this afternoon. We fished A-rigs, rattle traps, and swim baits, brush hogs and Tightline Jigs. Our best fish came on Tightline jigs in Black/Blue, Wood Thumper. Most fish where in the 2- 3.5 pound range, with a good limit of 4 to 5.5 pound fish with most of them coming out of 8-18 FOW. Good news today, the Bait, Tackle and Grill shop at Goose Pond has new owners and is OPEN for business. Stop by and meet Jamie and Michelle Shay, they are in the process of putting in a full line of tackle and the grill will be up and running soon! I have a few days available. Make your reservations now for some great action on Guntersville, Nickajack or Tim’s Ford. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost you, Military Discount and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. “Let’s go fish’ in†
Visit www.midsouthbassguide.com for more photos and sign up for my monthly newsletter
