Is It Spring YET???
#1
Wished we had more snow in the hills but it is what it is..

I got spring fever and the only thing I can think of is head for Powell for a few days.. In the past this time of year the middle of Feb is a great time to be on Powell..

Will give a report when I get back about Tuesday or so..

Can small films clips be posted on here?? If so how ?? I got a GoPro and will try to use it ..

I was thinking of hitting Powell myself in the couple of weeks. Ice fishing fun, but just doesn't quite satisfy me like a long day at Lake Powell.

Yeah, I'm definitely ready for spring. Just read my in fisherman mag about mega bass and huge crappie. Wish powell wasn't so far away. Anyone got any ruby slippers I can borrow?

I try to make this trip each year on this same time, the temps have been in the high 50 or low to mid 60 every year so far..

And the fishing has been great, we go to Page and get rooms for around $40. per night and the gas prices are about the same or lower then SLC..

We have had as many as 10 boats and as few as 1 but the fishing is the best..

You can catch about any type of fish this time of year from Crappie to Striper to bass, and Walleye..

Hope you do good. Let us know how it goes. Hey, make sure to not measure any of the fish in the pics to drive the guys nuts on here, we need a little entertainment.
