Uinta lake curse!!!!
#1
I went up to Murdock basin this weekend for the elk hunt. As for the hunt didnt even see a elk or something that could resemble one. the weather is too warm. but back to the curse. In the past 3 years, i would say 70% of the time when i go to the high uinta lakes, i either break my pole, lose the tip, or my reel seizes up. This weekend I lost the tip to my pole while on a ATV. and the brookies were hitting like crazy out of echo and pyramid lake!!! I did make elk camp laugh though, as i was trying to make a new tip to my pole out of pine branches, and tried willows with tie wire for eyelits held on by duct tape, but it never worked!!!! too much bend in it and would imped on reeling in!!! this next weekend I am taking 2 poles and 2 reels!!!

Hey polo you need to get one of them pole that are in about 4 pieces and are only about 12" long when pulled apart. or else get a hard case for your pole to protect it.
