I am making my first trip to Strawberry this weekend and was wondering what might be working. Taking my parents along and would like to get them on some fish. If someone is willing, I would appreciate some tips on that lake. Went once in summer 3 years back and got two bows but never been on ice. PM if you prefer. Appreciate the help.
Also, wouldn't mind a run up to Pelican. Anyone been recently and have ice report?

I ice fish strawberry all the time. I have yet to find a spot that's any better than hit and miss. I have tried everything and seem to have significantly better luck when I use a 2.5 inch white grub tipped with a meal worm.
Good luck.
