Might be getting a break from the hospital this weekend and was wondering what PVs ice is like. Been stuck at PCMC for the last month and haven't been able to go check it out. Any info would be appreciated

i think the ice is decent around that lake but fishing has been dismall, expect a light bight and be ready cause they only hit once or twice and they are gone. they are good sized perch in there this year just a matter of locating a hungry school. crappie fishing has been either real good or real bad. its all about locating active fish. i might hit it up this weekend for another try and see if other areas on that lake that are normally not fished are holding fish due to the high water level when it froze. hope this helps.

Fished last Sat. west of browing point. 3 bites, no fish. Didn't see anyone else with fish in our area. Marked and saw fish on the camera in 45-50', what I saw on the camera were quite small. Fish came by in schools then left. Ice was good. Edges good in the early morning and mid day when I left but 4 wheelers broke through the edge as I was leaving.

Good luck! Didn't see many fishing, compared to other years, might be for a reason!

Fished the narrows Tuesday night VERY slick ice everywhere. From the time you get out of the truck til you get back in the truck edges where nice. Open water from dam to the til you get out of the no trespassing. 7 inches of ice.
