A Berry Dozen Yesterday

Hit Soldier Creek area yesterday. Fishing was pretty fast early on...died down (predictably) between 10:00 and 3:00.

I caught 12 fish. Nearly all cuts and most between 16 and 19. A couple of smaller rainbows...all went back. Wax worms on tube jigs and Gitzits were most popular.

Ice was good, 10 inches with about 3 inches of slush and 4-5 inches of crusty snow.

Sky was blue and it was a beautiful day. Wind came up a bit around 1:00 but overall just a great day on the ice.
