Roberts 2/17
#1
My wife came with me to Roberts yesterday and we had a pretty good time. The weather was perfect, warm sun, very little wind. We parked by the new handycap dock and punched out a few of the holes that were there next to it. I dropped my camera down and saw some small perch pretty much immediately, threw a meal worm on and had a bite in the first minute. Caught and kept maybe twelve perch from 3-6 inches, kept a 10" rainbow and released two 9" rainbows.

Had a good time talking to some older guys that came to fish about the time we were ready to leave, they had a few bites immediately too and pulled out a dinky perch. This was my wife's first trip, my third but the first one i've actually caught fish, so it was a good day. I'll be at Ryder this afternoon if all goes well, maybe I can figure out my fish finder this time... maybe I'll even read the directions.

Good to see both, you and the wife, sharing a common interest. You better watch out, before long she will be catching more than you!

Good to hear you got out. We got out there last week. The biggest numbers can be found in the bay.

Sounds like you found more trout than we did. Usually they are picked out by this time of year. Its always fun when you canshare something with the wife.
