Went down early Friday morning to get some practice in for the first CFF of the year. Did pretty decent on Friday morning catching several good keepers and one toad that went about 6 lbs. I was pretty pumped up about the tourney and thought my chances were decent. Saturday morning I got up early and Dad and I were very excited to be fishing a tournament. Fished the same places and never hooked into a good one. Caught 8 keepers and only had 7.59 lbs with our best 3. The big ones never bit for us. Had a blast tho. Caught lots of fish this weekend. All of our fish were caught in shallow water (3-6 ft). Fish caught on traps and A-rigs. Congrats to all the winners. Very well ran tournament. I was good to see all you guys down there.
