Fished from 1 to 4:30pm without a bite. Used power-goo and threw various jigs and spinners on another rod. Fished the north end off the highway. First timer at this lake and will give it another try when in the area. Weather was awesome - sunny, calm, and beautiful. Not looking forward to heading home to the snow I hear is up north in the morning.

Thanks for the post. Too bad about the fishing, I'm headed down to st. george tomorrow and was hoping to hear some good news but at least you got out. Did you fish any other water? Or any tips for down there.

Only water I hit. I did hear later that another guy did quite well fishing in the morning. He caught fish on both salmon eggs and power goo. Be careful on your drive, lots of slide offs on the way home today - Cedar City through Filmore. Good luck.
