Monday March 5<br /><br />I had a crappie trip to day with Sam Holladay from Murfreesboro. Sam is a salesman from Murfreesboro Outdoors, the best baitshop here locally. It was a cold morning but the bite was solid early. As the high pressure system came in today the bite kept slacking off. We caught all of our crappie casting 1/32nd and 1/16th oz jigs with 2&quot; grubs. Most of our fish came in the 4-7ft range, water temps were 53-54 in the mid-lake area, water temps around Fate Sanders was in the 54-55 range, the main channel is mud all the way to Bryant&#39;s grove area. Spring creek was stained about half way back in, most of our fish came from this creek. All in all we had 11 crappie and about 25-30 fish total.
