Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone has been around A.F reservoir, just wondering how the water is and if you can get a boat on yet, or are people still ice fishing?

we put in Sunday at the dam on the west side. Fishing was slow with just two fish caught and under 16 inches. Lots of boats out most seemed to be working the west side up to the cliffs. Never could find many fish. we worked the silo the dam, west side clear up past the cliffs and never did mark many fish on the finder. seen a few caught from shore right around the dam on the west corner.

I don't own a boat so I can't speak for the reservoir itself, but I can say that the fishing near the reservoir has been excellent this past week.

since that place holds mostly bows I'll bet most are headed north to inlets for staging/spawning....

That was my though also. But doesnt it hold the sterile version fish that dont spawn ?
