Glad to hear you got off safe also..
This was also the case for East Cayon on Sunday we just didn't head out all the way.. We got out and just stepped on the ice to see how it was.. We could see a snowible made it out but barely. (You could see he broke through but made it on safe) then it was pure slush for the first oh 7feet which I think you would be walking in 5-7FT of water before you hit the ice.. I could see a whole bunch of people out there and even fourwheelers so they were probably walking in water on the way back in.. I think with the temperatures all above 32* this week this was the last weekend for ice fishing at east cayon unless you are a daredevil..
So we stopped by Lost Creek just to see if it was safe, we went by the entrance and it looked OK. We could see some slush for a couple of feet so we though lets go see over by the boat dock.. You could see a foot or so of slush.. But you could get on safely easily.. But this weekend for ice fishing at lostcreek may be a big question mark.
