Yep! Utah Lake put the smack down on me! Started out throwing cranks for some 'eyes but the allure of catching a lmb was too much too handle (and my TM foot pedal switch was staying on constant-b.o.a.t.) so we went searching for them. My buddy Frankie got a nice one in his boat, he sent me a pic and I was done looking for 'eyes. Found some warmer water, 53* and started pitchin'. Nuthin. Put in 5 hours or so before I got my only one. Nothing to brag about but it's March 11th and any bass caught in Northern Utah in March will make my day.
A big thank you to Pat (tubedude). My lonely bass was caught on a jig that I had just picked up the day before. Perfect color and weight. I make my own skirts, put on a trailer and 350 casts later BAM! fish on! lol [cool] I love fishing in the spring time.

note, my fishin' buddy I told ya about that caught a lot of big bass at Jordanelle in the past... he passed away yesterday... Hopefully there's more bigguns waiting for him on the other side... [angelic]
