Hello Everyone,
I decided to try out Hyrum last weekend 10/03. I only had a few hours to fish so I went to the south end of the dam and used traditional baits and jigs. I caught three nice trout with the largest around 16 inches. I also landed three bass and a sunfish on worms and green swirly tailed jig behind a float. There were very few fish coming to the surface due to the lack of fly hatches but they hit worms on almost every cast. They didn't care much for the mallow combo nor the powerbait. Just straight worm.
I was very surprised to see such nice fish right from the bank. I will include some pics of me and my two year old here with this post.
