Planning on going up to the weber thurs, the lower has been really dirty, so planning on going up the canyon past echo, never even been up their. Is it easy to find access to spots to fish. Has anybody been up thier lately was planning on throwing some streamers for once since nothing else has seemed to work. If anybody is heading up thurs around 11 I would love some company!

access is fairly easy but there are spots of private property through there. they are well marked and well guarded, how ever if you ask i have found that the land owners are more then willing to let you fish if you ask... anyway... once you get above the lake take the coalville exit, turn right then turn immediately left in front of the gas station and follow the dirt road. you will see the easements all along the river. be careful where the river runs under a bridge and be sure to be on the lookout for private property signs. as for bugs, i would assume streamers would work well once the sun warms things up a touch but if it were me i would still stay realitivly small and keep an eye out for the pocket water sippers nailing midges on the top. good luck!

LUCKY! Wish I had time to run up Thursday. Work owns me during the weeks unfortunately. I've always had good luck up there with scuds. Also you're usual nymphs, copper johns, pheasant tails, WD-40's. During the week is the time to go though! I'm sure it's going to look like the provo river up there this weekend with the weather warming up! Good luck and report back!
