Wanted to give you all an update on ice conditions at Scofield.
With water levels rising, the edges of the lake do not have thick ice. In many areas there is 10-20 feet of open water before you hit the main ice.
You can still access the lake in many areas such as across the bay from the state park where shoreline faces north and does not receive a lot of sunlight.
A few more days of warm weather could produce our first shoreline fishing for the year.
