Most of the edges are showing open water or the ice is soft enough you need to bring a board. Drove along Hwy 40 and no one was on the ice. Went to SC dam and no one was on the ice.
Sad to put up the auger and the short poles but there is some sweet action starting as the ice recedes.
It is like having your own private lake
